ABOUT

Christine Yoo discovered her passion for design at an early age. Her innate knack for arts ’n crafts led her to pursue a higher education at Parsons School of Design, where she gained a deeper understanding of the elements of art and the power of (good) design. She graduated in 2017 with a BFA in Product (Industrial) Design and Communication Design. Her interests lie in both constructed environments and digital spaces.

Currently, Christine resides in Atlanta, GA and works full-time as a Luxury Furniture Sales Rep for BRADLEY USA. She is a creative and driven professional, who combines her passion for art and design with her skills in sales and marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys helping small businesses bring their visions to life. Through freelance Graphic Design, she’s had the pleasure of working on packaging, social media, and brand identity projects for various local clients. Her curious mind, intuition, and attention to detail aid in her ability to create intentional designs.

“Growing up in the machine-age, in an era of mass-manufacturing and copies, I have had my fair share of encounters with products that were too simple, too structured, and lifeless. My work is ultimately driven by the desire to redesign existing products – contrary to those I was raised with – in a playful yet practical manner. “The playful search for beauty,” as Eva Zeisel once said, is a compelling testimony I try to employ into my designs – often taking inspiration from nature, my own personal narratives, or observations. I wish to create objects that aid us physically in our day to day lives, but also hold a story that we can connect to on a spiritual level. I believe products are designed to serve us, but should also enlighten us. After all, they exist in this world like any other being.”
